About

Hi, I’m Branden Hart, and I tell stories—whether through a lens, a pen, or three or four guitar chords.

Somewhere between Harvard classrooms and the open skies of Oklahoma, I’ve built a career that blends creativity, history, and a bit of adventure. My work spans photography, cinematography, writing, and music, all driven by a deep respect for the storytelling legacies of my Cherokee and Chickasaw ancestors.

Cinematographer & Visual Storyteller

From historic Chickasaw heritage sites to corporate documentaries, I capture the essence of a moment with the same precision as a seasoned barista crafting the perfect espresso (yes, I used to do that too). My cinematography credits include Faces of Pain, The Bergen Wind Farm, and Fort Washita Walking Tour, and I’ve had the privilege of working with the Chickasaw Nation on multiple film and photography projects.

Photographer & Creative Director

I’ve documented everything from the evolution of Oklahoma’s clean energy landscape to the intricate beauty of Native American artifacts. My work has been featured in Golf Digest, USA Today - Golfweek, and even at the offices of Governor Bill Anoatubby. Whether it’s historic bridges, rare artworks, or extreme weather photography (because Oklahoma, right?), I strive to tell compelling visual stories.

Writer & Musician

Once upon a time, I was a signed songwriter with Universal Music Publishing Group - Nashville, mentored by Grammy-winning legends. I’ve written, performed, and had my work played on radio stations across the country. Today, I still write—screenplays, articles, and the occasional song when inspiration strikes.

Speaker & Educator

Public speaking has taken me from Harvard’s Sanders Theater to community storytelling events, sharing insights on filmmaking, photography, and cultural preservation. At the Chickasaw Arts Academy, I got to share my passion for photography with young creatives, sparking curiosity and new perspectives behind the lens.

Drone Pilot & Explorer

With an FAA commercial drone pilot license, I take my storytelling to new heights (literally). Aerial photography adds a dynamic perspective to my projects, whether capturing wind farms or vast landscapes with a bird’s-eye view.

A Lifelong Learner

Currently, I’m finishing my degree in Humanities at Harvard University, with minors in Creative Writing and Digital Media. I’m also furthering my film expertise through the Cherokee Film Institute. Learning is a lifelong passion, and every project I take on is another opportunity to explore and grow.

Let’s Work Together

Whether you need a cinematographer, photographer, writer, or creative consultant, I’d love to bring your vision to life. Let’s create something unforgettable.
